The Wyatt Trust has published a new report that details our work over the last four years to embed a Lived and Living Experience approach
across our grantmaking, program design and beyond.
The Valuing
and Embedding Lived and Living Experience at The Wyatt Trust report
captures what has been a humbling, and at times, difficult journey.
We acknowledge that it has taken time and practice to get comfortable sitting with discomfort and we are very much still learning. We
don’t profess to have all the answers or a handy blueprint that can be rolled out by other funders or policy makers.
What we do have is a series of insights and a small but compelling body of knowledge that we hope may be useful beyond our
organisation.
We hope the report inspires service providers, philanthropic funders, government departments and policymakers to interrogate their own
practices and explore this approach.
This report is the first in an annual series of publications about a range of topics Wyatt will be producing in the spirit of knowledge
sharing.
We welcome feedback on the report (please email us: admin@wyatt.org.au) and invite readers to
share the report with anyone you think it may be of value to.
Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with us, particularly our Lived and Living Experience colleagues. None of this would have
been possible without your generosity.
