Eligibility for Wyatt Assistance

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • Residents of South Australia for a period of at least 5 years at some point in their life.
  • Living on a Centrelink payment and/or similar low income (eligible for a low income health care card).

All applications for Financial Assistance, Education Grants, visits to the Holiday Unit, Respite and Compassionate Travel must be on referral from a health, education or welfare professional.

People who are in gaol, on home detention or remand are not eligible for Wyatt assistance. However, financial assistance may be provided to their families, if eligible.
