INFORMATION FOR PROJECT FUNDING

Wyatt invites proposals from agencies seeking funds to develop or continue innovative projects that address the welfare, housing or education needs of people who are financially disadvantaged.

Projects must be located in South Australia and be targeted to people who meet Wyatt eligibility criteria, which are:

  • a minimum of five years residency in South Australia
  • on a Centrelink payment or equivalent low income
  • not in gaol, on home detention or remand.

Note: Wyatt funding is used for the benefit of named individuals, not for salaries, recurrent administrative or other costs or services considered government responsibility.

Wyatt is able to partner with service agencies and other funding sources to jointly financially support selected projects.

Partnership agencies must be incorporated bodies and ‘not-for-profit’.

Preference will be given to projects that:

  • target significant disadvantage
  • have the capacity to demonstrate long-term, rather than short-term benefits
  • demonstrate innovation.
